Amsterdam Gay Pride

This Saturday, July 23rd, the Amsterdam Gay Pride will start. Since it is the twentieth edition, the event will be extra big this year. It is one of the nicest events that occur yearly in Amsterdam. During two weeks (usually it is only one week) there will be debates and parties that attract several hundred-thousands of visitors from all over the world. The absolute highlight of the Gay Pride is the Canal Parade which will take place on Saturday August 6th, when 80 beautifully decorated boats sail through the Amsterdam Canals.
